One of the last automobile adventures of this World, the old and youngtimer rally from the Allgäu region in southern Germany to the Orient and specifically to Amman in Jordan will start in 30th of April 2011 for the sixth time in Oberstaufen. It will stay also in the year 2011 the Low Budget Rally for the people, who dream of participating in a calculable adventure. The rally is a cheap alternative for Paris-Dakar for strong Teams and good mooded people.

The Allgäu-Orient-Rally causes pleasure and fun to its participants, aims to a better international understanding, contact with the other cultures and finally supports good social purposes. It is literally "one of the last automobile adventures of this World".
Because of these goals, the Allgäu-Orient-Rally has lot more to offer on its sixth edition, we won even a very special partner on our side, who does not have a lot of money to offer though, but rather a big name and good relations: THE UNITED NATIONS with their World Food Program WFP.
Beside the United Nations we have other reliable partners. While selecting our partners and sponsors we tried not to get influeced and change our principles, like what have happened by Paris-Dakar. Our sponsors and partners are listed below:
Mount Nebo Association - Social development and help in Jordan
Strom und Design Reichart - more than electricity, cabels and light bulbs
Heizung Sanitär Walter Hartmann - new and clear heating systems, GWS
so geht's publishing + idea wilfried gehr - public relations, text and ideas factory!
Only cars that are not less than 20 years old or cost not more than 1111.11 Euro are allowed to take part in the rally. In both cases, the cars should be able to be "driven" on the streets as normal cars!
